Jacqueline Del Rosario

It all started with one person’s vision. One woman wanted to make a difference in her community and empower at-risk youth to reach their full potential. ReCapturing the Vision was birthed from this heartfelt compulsion to help struggling youth overcome adversity and learn to dream again.

A former educator and tireless champion for America’s youth, Dr. Jacqueline Del Rosario was uniquely equipped to develop and implement hard-hitting programs that instilled the core values which lead youth to success. Dr. Del Rosario’s exceptional leadership at the helm of a first-rate organization has resulted in numerous awards and accolades, including 2003 Humanitarian of the Year from the National Abstinence Clearinghouse, and a state-designated “Vessels of Honor Day” in recognition of her stellar work around teen pregnancy prevention. In 2004 Ms Del Rosario was nominated to the President’s Advisory board on HIV/AIDS, and has received special recognition from former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.

Dr. Del Rosario is constantly breaking new ground as the author of youth-centered curricula and workbooks and the producer of positive teen-centered media. As Editorial Director of Teen Vision , magazine, Dr. Del Rosario reaches tens of thousands of youth with her powerful message, daily helping students find solutions to the tough issues they face. She has appeared as a guest on CNN, testified in front of the United States Congress, served as an educational specialist for WPLG Channel 10 in Miami, and worked as a motivational speaker both nationally and internationally.

In addition to serving as President and CEO at RTV, Dr. Del Rosario is a leading advocate for Healthy Marriage formation, and family strengthening, launching the “Making Marriage Work” radio talk show in 2008. In addition, she spearheads the Marriage Minutes campaign, a series of video presentations that provide the tools to prepare for healthy relationships and marriage. As a certified marriage counselor, Dr. Del Rosario has developed cutting edge tools to help couples talk through their problems and find healthy solutions in support of her vision to break generational cycles of dependency that have crippled so many families.

Educator, Author, Advocate, Counselor, and Visionary, Jacqueline Del Rosario holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Master’s in Education, and a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership.
