Includes a career aptitude test, as practical advice on setting goals, and step-by-step instruction on how to develop a plan that will implement their vision.
Chapter 2: Wisdom This chapter focuses on teaching youth to carefully weigh their actions so that they never do anything to jeopardize their future. Students will learn the four steps to conflict resolution, reflect on their morals and values, and practice doing the right thing when the going gets tough.
Chapter 3: Responsibility This chapter lays the groundwork for flourishing in a professional setting. Students learn the value of hard work and sound business ethics in order to actualize their role as future providers for their families. Activities in this chapter include resume do’s and don’ts, mock interview practice, and role-play scenarios which develop students’ commitment to fulfilling their obligations.
Chapter 4: Integrity Though morals and values are discussed earlier, the Integrity unit takes the concept one step further by stressing the need for students to stick to the personal standards they have defined for themselves. Exercises teach students to navigate the path to integrity in a variety of tricky scenarios and students walk away with concrete tools they can apply to defend their morals from external and internal pressure.
Chapter 5: Self-Control Students receive clear instruction on the consequences of lack of self-control in two key areas: anger and sex. Students learn sexual conflict resolution methods, refusal statements, and communication skills that will equip them to exhibit self-control in every situation.
Chapter 6: Strength & Endurance This chapter helps young men become stronger. It teaches them that though challenges can sometimes be overwhelming, they must not quit. Students learn about the three main barriers to strength and are given the tools necessary to persevere.
Chapter 7: Love & Commitment Students learn how to conduct themselves when dating, the value of monogamy, and the importance of compatibility when choosing a life partner to share their vision.
